Last year’s horn choir club, after the performance at Trinity Lutheran Church.
Join the second annual Midland Horn Choir Club! In this now 8-week program, you will work directly with Annie Chapman Brewer, as well as the top high school horn players and community members in the Great Lakes Bay region. Experience learning and performing chamber music with other like-minded instrumentalists from the community. The group will play a variety of repertoire showcasing the amazing sound and range of the horn, all music provided by Annie’s music library. Annie will guide you through 90 minute sessions focusing on blending and intonation with your peers.
This year, works will be by James Naigus, Edward Elgar, Georg Friedrich Händel, and some surprises!
The final performance will be held on Tuesday, March 17th at 7:30pm located at Trinity Lutheran Church : 3701 Jefferson Ave. Midland, Mi, 48640
Ages 9th grade to adults are welcome! Does not have to be one of Annie’s private students.
No auditions are required, but the ability to play the horn within standard range is a must.
Dates
Rehearsals: Tuesdays at 7:30pm-9:00pm from January 27th-March 10th
Performance: Tuesday, March 17th at 7:30pm
Location
All rehearsals and performance will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church. All rehearsals will be in the main sanctuary past the welcome desk on the right.The March 17th performance will be held in the same location.
Fee
$45 for students (9th grade and up) $50 for community members (18+), due by Friday, January 23rd
Inclement Weather
If there is a snow day and roads are clear, we will plan to continue having the rehearsals. That being said, if the roads are unsafe to travel, Annie will reach out to everyone earlier on Monday to cancel rehearsals. Cancelled rehearsals cannot be rescheduled, but more rehearsals are now scheduled to help in case of these possible issues.

For cancellations made in writing to anniejchapman@gmail.com, by January 26, partial refund is available. No refunds are available after January 26.
