Join the new Midland Horn Choir Club! In this 6-week program, you will work directly with Annie Chapman Brewer, as well as the top high school horn players and community members in the Great Lakes Bay region. Experience learning and performing chamber music with other like-minded instrumentalists from the community. The group will play a variety of repertoire showcasing the amazing sound and range of the horn, all music provided by Annie’s music library. Annie will guide you through the sessions focusing on blending and intonation with your peers.

The final performance will be held on Monday, March 3rd at 7:30pm at Trinity Lutheran Church : 3701 Jefferson Ave. Midland, Mi, 48640

Eligibility

Ages 9th grade to adults are welcome!

No auditions are required, but the ability to play the horn within standard range is a must

Dates

Rehearsals: Mondays at 7:30pm-8:30pm from January 27th-February 24th

Performance: Monday, March 3rd at 7:30pm

Location

All rehearsals and performance will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church. All rehearsals will be in the Children’s Music room, basement area, fourth door on the left. The March 3rd performance will be held in the main sanctuary past the welcome desk.

Fee

$30 for students (9th grade and up) $45 for community members (18+), due by Friday January 24th

Cancellation Policy

For cancellations made in writing to anniejchapman@gmail.com, by January 24, partial refund is available. No refunds are available after January 24.

Inclement Weather

If there is a snow day and roads are clear, we will plan to continue having the rehearsals. That being said, if the roads are unsafe to travel, Annie will reach out to everyone earlier on Monday to cancel rehearsals. Rehearsals cannot be rescheduled.
